North Yarmouth Community Quilt
Where am I now?
The idea of a community quilt was proposed by Barb Hauke at a meeting of the 2007 North Yarmouth Events Committee. During Fun Day 2007, people of all ages designed and colored a square. Perhaps you or your child or grandchild made your personal square. Phyll
is Smith and Darla Hamlin sewed these squares together to create a unique Community Quilt. Roseann Stoddard and Linda Rahkley assisted with the project. The quilt will be on display this summer at various locations in North Yarmouth.
Phyllis and Darla will be selling raffle tickets and one lucky winner will win what could become a future town heirloom. Tickets are $3 each or two for $5. All proceeds from the sale of the raffle tickets are being donated to NYEC.
The current location of the quilt is noted below:
August 14, 2008 - I will be at the TWO Performance at Wescustogo Hall, Route 115, North Yarmouth from 5 to end of concert.
